2026 Wildflower Phoenix Oolong
Wildflower Phoenix Oolong is a dancong from Wudong Mountain in the Phoenix Mountains of Guangdong Province, with a more roasted, more oxidized profile than some of the lighter roasted dancongs we carry. It's very round and very sweet, with ripe fruit and jam notes. Crisp, but with no harsh astringency, and the roast is very well integrated. Overall an excellent value.
Unusually for a dancong, it's a blend of several Phoenix Mountain cultivars rather than a single variety. Produced without chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. Mid-April 2026 harvest.
