An unblended, single cultivar ceremonial matcha from Yame, stone ground by Osada Seicha. Osada is a third-generation family tea company based in Shizuoka, led by Natsumi Osada, an 8th-dan national tea appraiser. While Osada is best known for organic teas from Shizuoka's mountains, this matcha showcases their skill with Yame-grown Yabukita tencha.
Extremely smooth and creamy with a rich, thick body and beautiful foam. Expect notes of cashew and a hint of vanilla, with light minerality and no real bitterness to speak of. A lovely, very slightly floral aftertaste lingers after each sip. As a latte, it's exceptionally smooth, mild, creamy, and nutty.
