Organic Osada Hiraki Light Steamed Sencha
A single cultivar asamushi sencha from the mountainous Tenryu region of Shizuoka, crafted by Fujiwara, a tea maker based in the small mountain town of Haruno. Made from organically grown Yabukita leaves harvested in the spring first flush and finished with a high-heat roast typical of mountain teas. The light steaming yields a clean, transparent liquor with a light, sweet character, gentle floral notes, and a toasty quality that emerges at the finish.
