Matsu no Midori Matcha by Hekisuien 30g
Matsu no Midori is a well-balanced everyday usucha with savory, deep flavors and a creamy texture. Green, vegetal notes come together with dark chocolate bitterness, a slight sweetness and a hint of tartness. It's medium bodied with good intensity of flavor and some astringency. In a latte, a lovely nuttiness comes forward.
The name means "evergreen pine." It's a step up from Kin no Uzu in the Hekisuien lineup.
Hekisuien has been making tea since 1867 and has been recognized as Kyō no Shinise (a long-established Kyoto business).
