Designed by ceramist David Birch and introduced in 1988, the Farmhouse became one of London Pottery's signature shapes. London Pottery teapots have been sold at Harrods and other UK retailers since the early 1980s.
This teapot includes a removable stainless steel mesh infuser basket for steeping loose leaf tea. The infuser lifts out cleanly when brewing is done, and the lid locks onto the infuser's handle to keep everything secure when you pour. The upright spout is angled to minimize dripping.
The Ivory glaze is a warm, creamy off-white with a glossy finish. Like the other Farmhouse glaze colors, it shows natural variation across the surface where the glaze pools and thins during firing.
At 600 ml (20 fl oz), this makes two cups of tea.
Dimensions: 16.8 cm (6.6") wide (spout to handle) × 12.2 cm (4.8") deep × 13.3 cm (5.2") tall
Made in China for London Pottery (UK design)
