2026 Latumoni Assam Handmade Signature Black Tea from India
We are big fans of the Indian Assam black teas from Latumoni. It's rare to find entirely handmade Assam teas from gardens grown without any chemical fertilizers or pesticides, so we always jump at the chance to offer their teas to our customers. This spring 2026 batch is smooth with notes of malt and molasses.
Latumoni is a very small family run tea garden in Tingkhong, Upper Assam (northeast India) specializing in high quality, whole leaf black teas. This offering is a second flush Assam which tend to be more robust than first flushes so they typically take milk and sugar well.
