2026 Organically Grown Himalayan Evergreen Green Tea from Jun Chiyabari
With aromas reminiscent of violets on the dry leaf, this organically cultivated and very high elevation green tea is intriguing on the first whiff. The liquor is clean, smooth, and crisp with some of the floral notes softly coming through as well as a whisper of minerality. Lemon notes build in the finish and a stronger almost lemony syrup sweetness comes forward as the tea cools.
Himalayan Evergreen is one of the signature green teas from Jun Chiyabari. Each batch of Himalayan Evergreen is different from the others, as Jun Chiyabari never does anything cookie cutter or by rote. In our opinion, they are one of the most (if not the most) creative and sophisticated tea producers and tea growers in Nepal.
