Blue and White Plum Blossom Porcelain Teacup (~70 ml)
These porcelain yunomi (Japanese teacup) come from Bifū Ceramics, a Mino ware maker in Gifu Prefecture, painted with plum blossoms in cobalt blue under the glaze, a style known as sometsuke. Plum is the first tree to flower in Japan, a long-standing symbol of endurance and the turn toward spring.
Approximate dimensions: 7.5 cm diameter, 4.5 cm height, ~70 ml capacity. Made in Japan.
Each piece may vary slightly in glaze tone and size due to the firing process, which is characteristic of traditional pottery.
