2011 Xiaguan Jin Se Yin Xiang Raw Puerh

This 2011 Xiaguan Raw Cake, known sometimes as "Golden Impression" or "Golden Image" is a highly satisfying mid-aged factory puerh.  It ticks all the boxes of strength, mouthfeel, and huigan (or a slight minty cool sensation in the throat after swallowing).  Our tasting notes indicate smooth and syrupy mouthfeel, with a gorgeous persistent woody strength and aromatics of camphor, mushroom, and tobacco.  

This Xiaguan cake has a reputation of being a good value cake.  We definitely agree.  It's super solid and not expensive - highly recommended to grab a cake or two.  

Each cake is 357 grams.  Some of the wrappers have light tea oil stains on them but otherwise are in very good condition.
