The 2011 Dayi Factory (previously known as Menghai Tea Factory) Xin Hai Bai Nian cake is a special edition cake to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 1911 Revolution. It's a ripe tea (wet pile fermented), with a heavy proportion of tips in the mix.
This is actually one of our favorite ripe teas that we've had in the last couple of years. The tea is sweet, clean tasting, complex, creamy, and of course woody/earthy. The energy of the tea is balancing.
