This is a mid-aged classic factory ripe puerh recipe from Dayi produced in 2012. It's one of our favorites for just easy, enjoyable sipping with a light creamy, milk chocolate quality to it plus some really mellow woodsy notes and a sweet finish.
The "85" in the recipe indicates that the recipe was first introduced in 1985. The "9" indicates that the average leaf size is grade 9 (which is quite large). And the "2" is a factory code indicating that this is from the Dayi (formerly known as Menghai) Tea Factory.
