Tenju Matcha by Marukyu Koyamaen

Tenju Matcha is the Marukyu Koyamaen's top grade matcha in their principal lineup.  Considered by many to be the finest koicha matcha available, it won the top award for koicha matcha at the Japanese National Tea Fair.

The taste, aroma, and mouthfeel are intoxicating, nearly divine.  The flavor is deep and rich with an extremely sweet and smooth finish.  Tenju Matcha can be prepared as thin tea (usucha) or thick tea (koicha) and the flavor notes and experiences will vary depending on your choice of preparation.  But, whether thick or thin tea, Tenju is likely to fully captivate you.
