2026 Sticky Rice Green Tea from Myanmar
This new batch of Sticky Rice Green Tea from Myanmar is a bit more robust than our previous offering. The tea is sturdy and smooth, with an intriguing edge of smoke and of course a prominent aroma of sticky rice.
Locally the herb is called Kauk Nyin Mhwe Ywet, but you may have heard of the sticky rice herb for Chinese teas, in which case it's called Nuo Mi Xiang. The sticky rice herb has a long history of being blended with tea and is frequently used to aid in digestion and soothe the stomach.
There is no actual rice used in the production of this tea. The rice aroma comes only from the natural scent of the herb.
