2026 Red Sun Yunnan Golden Buds
Red Sun Golden Buds is a really beautiful, complex tea from Pu'er City in Yunnan. The color of the liquor is a beautiful deep orange with loads of clarity. Red Sun is made entirely of new growth, spring picked buds which lend the tea a lot of complexity, sweetness, depth, and caffeine.
The flavor of the tea has notes of very cooked sugars, citrus (orange), some bakery spice and of course warm dark bread. It is medium bodied with an element of boldness from some astringency. Overall the tea is very balanced, somewhat robust, and highly enjoyable.
