Masui's Akari sencha is a single cultivar, lightly withered sencha made entirely from the Saeakari cultivar. The taste and drinking experience is savory and deep, with a lovely sweetness that carries on into the finish. We get notes of chestnut, sweet potato, and edamame that we can't get enough of.
Masui san is an outstandingly creative and inventive fifth generation tea maker in Kawane, Shizuoka. Kawane itself is breathtakingly beautiful.
