GIFT GIVING MADE EASY
We are super in love with Mark Mohler's latest batch of handmade gaiwans. Each has a fairly small volume, but are still chonky and substantial. Made using Lizella clay from Georgia and inspired by the Korean Buncheong style, Mark is also a genuine tea lover and so his love for tea informs his work as well. This gaiwan fits nicely in the hand and is perfect for solo sessions or for sharing gong fu tea with one other person.
This handmade gaiwan holds about 95 ml of water and is approximately 11 cm (d) and 5.4 cm (h, without the lid on).
The piece you see is the piece you'll receive. We photograph each one as accurately as we can, but screens vary and no photograph carries the full depth of glaze or small irregularities of form that give handmade pottery its character.
