Kutani-yaki Blue and Pink Tea Cups

These are really stunning Kutani-yaki ('yaki' means 'ware') porcelain tea cups featuring repeated feather like hand brush strokes in a gorgeous gradation.  If you purchase a pink and a blue cup, the set will come in a nice gift box but we are also selling them individually (no box). 

Kutani-ware pottery has a history going back 350 years, having been first established by Goto Saijiro.

Made in Japan, not recommended for dishwasher or microwave.

Please note, the pink cup is slightly smaller than the blue cup.  They're designed to be a 'husband and wife set.'
