2026 Superior Uji Shincha from Marukyu Koyamaen
The Superior Uji Shincha from Marukyu Koyamaen is a limited release of their first sencha harvest of 2026. This is a Japanese green tea that flows together really well. It's exceptionally smooth and somewhat silky with a balanced vegetal quality and a slight edge of nuttiness. The umami is mellow, especially compared with this tea's big sibling (the Premium version available here). The finish is lengthy and deliciously savory.
