2025 Organically Grown Sencha from Yame
Our Organically Grown Sencha from Japan's Yame region is a real gem from Mr. Irie, one of the first organic tea producers in the Yame area. The cup offers a compelling balance between sweet and savory paired with a light body. The finish is crisp with a lingering very pleasant umami. Overall the feeling of this tea is clean and refreshing. It's pleasing to know that this farm hasn't had any pesticides or chemical fertilizers for 40 years.
2025 first flush harvest, blend of Yabukita and Sae Midori cultivars.
