This spring 2024 harvest offers a deeply satisfying profile - rich and full-bodied with a cozy, wood-forward character. The thick mouthfeel carries notes of sweet spice and gentle florals, while the distinctive "yan yun" (rock essence) emerges in a clean, sweet finish that lingers beautifully.
Crafted in the traditional style, this Rou Gui oolong exemplifies the deep artistry of Wuyi tea making. Each batch develops its complex character through multiple charcoal roastings over several months, using heritage tea plants grown in a very specific terroir.
