2010 Tulin Jin Hao Ripe Puerh
If you're looking for something a bit different from the dark chocolate and earth vibe of many ripe puerhs, this 2010 Tulin Jin Hao Ripe Puerh may interest you. It comes in a box of four 125 gram cakes (500 grams total), but we are offering them by the box or as an individual (unwrapped) 125 gram cake.
From the moment you open the package, the aroma of the dry leaf is quite enticing. It's very fragrant, mildly herby / medicine shop type. The taste is comfortable and mellow, with Chinese medicine herbal notes and a bit of sweet root. It's not particularly petrichor and forest floor like many other ripes on the market. The mouthfeel is coating, not quite syrupy but pleasing. Supposedly the leaf material is from Bulang Mountain, but it's hard to say for sure.
This tea was stored in Taiwan until late 2024.
