2010 Dayi Pu Zhi Wei Ripe Puerh
The 2010 Menghai Dayi "Pu Zhi Wei" Ripe Puerh comes from the second year of this recipe, which Dayi introduced in 2009 as an approachable ripe puerh for those new to the category. The tea is persistently sweet and easy going, with aromatic notes of vanilla and fragrant woods. Ginseng and Chinese dried fruit notes come up in middle to later steeps. The mouthfeel is light and flowing - quite easy to drink yet still very engaging. Highly recommended - a great value!
