2007 Cha Ma Si "Yin Ban Xin Xiang" Ripe Puerh

This 2007 ripe puerh from the Cha Ma Si Tea Factory is really special.  The large leaves of the cake steep to reveal a smooth, silky texture.  Tasting notes include an initial light earthiness that moves into deep, soft-ground florals.  It's a lively and sweet tea with a lush feeling in the throat and mouthfeel that pleasantly and quickly coats.  The fragrance lingers, while the body is a bit creamy.  Aromatics include Chinese date, granny face powder, and florals.
