2006 Mengsa Yiwu Shengtai Raw Puerh
Nearly two decades of aging on this Yiwu raw puerh. Honey-sweet and easy drinking with intriguing spice notes, fruit leather, and old books aromas. Silky texture with huigan coming in early. The shengtai designation indicates tea from a more natural, arbor tree type of growing environment. The storage is quite clean but somewhat humid (not basement level humid, but certainly not dry storage).
Taiwan stored until early 2025. Each cake is 357 grams. The wrappers have some damage.
