This Changtai Factory raw puerh cake from 2006 was produced to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Hong Kong Tea House, Tong An. The cake is stone pressed, with large beautiful intact leaves harvested primarily from arbor tea trees in Jiangcheng county. Teas from this area are known for being sweet, and this tea is no exception.
It is a well balanced cake with some nice strength in it but tempered by both age and Guangzhou storage. There is a nice sweetness and easiness to this tea with abundant camphor and wood notes.
