The 2011 Dayi Factory (previously known as Menghai Tea Factory) Xin Hai Bai Nian cake is a special edition cake to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 1911 Revolution. It's a ripe tea (wet pile fermented), with a heavy proportion of tips in the mix.
This is consistently one of our favorite ripe teas. The tea is sweet, clean tasting, complex, creamy, and of course woody/earthy. Persistent notes of vanilla.
Clean stored in Guangdong Province for 10 years.
