Yame Matcha Blend
Our Yame Matcha Blend is an entry level ceremonial grade matcha from Yame, Japan that showcases the region's distinctive nutty, toasty character. Yame matcha tends toward nuttiness rather than marine notes, offering something from Uji matcha profiles.
Fresh and sweet with creamy, nutty undertones and a hint of mineral and a clean finish. This balanced matcha drinks well as usucha but really shines in lattes and matcha-based beverages. This matcha is ball-milled so the texture is a bit more granular than a stone-milled matcha.

Yame Matcha Blend comes in either 40 gram or 100 gram nitrogen-flushed foil bags inside a tin. The tin color we send for the 40 gram tin will be either black or green. The tin for the 100 gram will be black (not pictured).
