2023 White2Tea Charing Cross Charcoal Roasted White Tea Minis

Another absolute stunner from White2Tea!  Charing Cross is a sun-dried old arbor white tea from Yunnan that Paul sent to Wuyi to be hand charcoal roasted by veteran yancha (rock oolong) makers in Fujian Province.  This tea is powerful - very sweet, very interesting, and very not-delicate.  We found a mild peach at first paired with some herbal notes while middle and later steeps developed an intriguing medicinal quality, a thick body, more prominent herbal notes, and overall welcomed warming quality.  We're really looking forward to savoring this as an autumn and winter special treat.

This is the dragonball format of this tea, each ball weighing approximately 7 grams.  We have also have the cake version of Charing Cross.
