Organic Texas Green Yaupon Herbal Tea

We're very proud to be able to offer wild-harvested Yaupon from Cat Spring, Texas.  This herbal infusion, a cousin of yerba mate and guayusa, is the only known caffeinated plant that is native to North America.  While not technically a true tea because it is not from the camellia sinensis family, Yaupon has an extensive history in North America of being enjoyed as a daily and ceremonial beverage.

Yaupon is very easy to prepare and seemingly impossible to make poorly.  The taste is very refreshing and uplifting, with a sweet, woodsy, herb-y profile.
