Our 2025 Organic Big Buddha Dragonwell is beautifully paradoxical: gentle at first sip yet assertively spreading across the palate with surprising power. The wet leaf aroma reveals a sweet rice note and a hint of flower perfume. Rich in qi energy, the liquor delivers a pleasant sparkly sensation that dances across the tongue. Unlike standard Dragonwell, this tea presents unique flavor notes of spicy honey and grain, with lightly drying qualities that leave traces of caramel. A fascinating interplay of subtle bitterness and honey creates an irresistible invitation for another sip.
Made from Longjing #43 plants by master teamaker Lü Yiming who has over 30 years of experience making Dragonwell green tea.
Big Buddha Dragonwell, also known as "Da Fo" Dragonwell is only made in Xinchang County of Eastern Zhejiang Province.
