Hokumei Single Cultivar Sencha

This spring single cultivar sencha is rich but dances cloud-like in the mouth.  It's light withered and wonderfully aromatic with an alluring floral nose and a deep underbelly.  A nice medium umami with a slight toastiness and overall a wonderful balance with a tantalizing freshness coming from that light wither. This is quite lovely and unique.  

Made by Masahiro Okutomi, who has won several Minister's Awards for his teas, this tea hails from Sayama (Saitama Prefecture).  Fukamushi steamed.
