Porcelain Gaiwan and Cup Starter Set

The Porcelain Gaiwan and Cup Starter Set is a great way to get acquainted with gong fu steeping tea.  Because the volume of the cup fits this gaiwan, you really don't need much else to get started, except some tea that you're excited about.

This gaiwan is a practical and versatile way to prepare gong fu tea.  It's made of porcelain, which means that the material itself is neutral and will not affect the tea's taste, aroma, or body.  It's very easy to clean and can be used for all types of teas.  We use these exact same gaiwans nearly everyday.  They're real workhorses.

The gaiwan is 100 ml filled up to the rim and 80 ml filled to just under the lid. 

The cup is a beautiful shape and weight, feels great in the hand, and is the perfect size for a solo tea session.
