Our traditional Tie Guan Yin is superb. The tea is darker and richer than many of the other Tie Guan Yins currently on the market. Many of the Tie Guan Yins being made these days are very green and meant to accentuate a high fragrance - this is not that kind of tea. This tea was made according to traditional processing techniques resulting in a deep, smooth liquor with prominent floral and honey tones. It has moderate oxidation and moderate roasting. We find it elegant and grounding with a very pleasing energy.
