Sunny Honey - Old Tree Black Tea from Vietnam
Sunny Honey is a sister tea to one of our all time favorites, First Kiss. They both use hand-picked spring leaves from trees that are over 100 years old from the Ha Giang Province of Northern Vietnam. The only processing difference between the two is that Sunny Honey was dried in the sun, whereas First Kiss was dried in the oven.
In the cup you'll notice notes of milk chocolate, tobacco, wood, roasted sweet potato, and dark sugars. It's silky smooth and very comfortable. Because this is a relatively lightly oxidized black tea that has been dried in the sun, it's exceptionally well-suited for aging.
2022 March Harvest. No agrochemicals were used in the production of this tea.
