Fruity Lapsang Souchong Black Tea from Tong Mu

If you've ever had the pleasure of experiencing tea being made you know that certain smell of fresh picked tea leaves mid processing.  It's an exquisite aroma - like fresh meadows with floral (not flowery) high notes. There really is nothing like it.  That is the aroma of this outstanding Fruity Lapsang Souchong.

The taste is sweet with a medium body.  The aroma is amazing.  The overall sensation is one of freshness.  The leaves indicate that this tea was not completely oxidized - which is one of the reasons for that exceptional aroma.  The pluck is pristine.  For fans of Chinese black teas... this is a must try.

Please note that this is not a smoked Lapsang Souchong.  This tea comes from the same village, but is made differently.
