Mountain Tea Path, from Zhejiang Province, is a local specialty in Yuhang county and has been well know in the area for several centuries. This beautiful tea is hand-picked in early spring (pre-Qingming / April 5), a bud and a leaf pluck. The leaves are tiny and very soft.
The tea itself has beautiful, delicate buttery quality to it, feeling great in the mouth and the body. Being a panfired tea, there are savory notes of nuts and a gentle toasty sweetness.
