Light Roast Ti Kuan Yin (Organic)
Truly spectacular, entirely handmade artisanal classic oolong from Anxi County in Fujian, China.
Ti Kuan Yin (or "Tie Guan Yin") is the classic oolong tea bush from Anxi County and making a TKY takes a tremendous amount of skill, luck and time. After harvesting, the leaves are repeatedly rolled and rested. Traditionally, they are also encouraged to moderately oxidize and are baked several times. This particular selection is a greener, more floral and fragrant Ti Kuan Yin than some of the darker versions you might have seen.
Select this tea if you'd like to enjoy a very high end, totally hand-made artisanal oolong.
Use 2 grams of tea for every 6 ounces of water. Generally this works out to a teaspoon per every 6 ounces of water. Steep for 1 to 2 minutes with 205 degree water. Great for multiple re-infusions.
