Goko Sencha - Green Tea from Uji, Japan

Goko Sencha, made from the Goko cultivar, hails from Uji, Japan. This unshaded, light-steamed sencha contains a range of rich and fruity aromas, with notes of succulent grape and a buttery, rounded mouthfeel.  Most often Goko leaves are used to make gyokuro and matcha, so it is wonderful to be able to explore this cultivar in an unshaded traditional sencha.
