Fruity Da Hong Pao

$ 8.00

From Fujian, China, this delicious 'yan cha' (or 'rock tea') has a fine balance of oxidation and roasting.  The tea has a bit of a fruity quality, also with a buttery mouthfeel.

Some Da Hong Paos are tremendously roasty tasting; ours is not.  This has the alluring quality of dark fruit and roast without tasting ashy as some DHPs can become. It is is rich tasting, but not astringnet.

Oolong tea

Use 2 grams of tea for every 6 ounces of water. Generally this works out to a teaspoon per every 6 ounces of water. Steep for 1 to 2 minutes with 205 degree water. Great for multiple re-infusions.
