Forest Sheng is a 2018 loose leaf border puerh from Lao Cai Province in Northen Vietnam - really just right across the border from Yunnan, China. The trees here are wild and old, residing at about 2000 meters.
This is actually one of my favorite un-aged puerhs in recent memory - the experience is buttery and floral, strong and deep. Technically it isn't actually a puerh of course because it's not from Yunnan, but the border is somewhat irrelevant to the trees and the locals.
The tea is entirely handmade and the dried in the sun.
