Da Yu Ling High Mountain
Da Yu Ling is an exquisite Taiwanese oolong from some of the highest tea gardens on the planet. It's entirely hand-picked and handmade and is becoming increasingly rare because of a labor shortage of skilled tea pickers in the area. Additionally, many of the Da Yu Ling tea gardens are being closed and the land taken over by the Taiwanese government for the purpose of land protection and erosion control.
The flavor experience evokes a high mountain breeze. It is deep and affecting, characteristically floral. Very sweet, this is a tea really to savor and treasure.
From Taichung county on Li Shan (or 'Pear Mountain').
Use 2 grams of tea for every 6 ounces of water. Generally this works out to a teaspoon per every 6 ounces of water. Steep for 1 to 2 minutes with 200 degree water. Great for multiple re-infusions.
