The 2009 Dayi Brand Zi Yun ripe cake is a tiny treasure. It is a mini-iron cake made of medium to light fermented, smaller leaf ripe (shou) pu-erh from organic tea plantations. Stored in Guangdong for 11 years.
The flavor is somewhat date-like, creamy, rich and smooth. It is very aromatic and somewhat woodsy. This is definitely one of our favorite ripe pu-erhs.
