Warning: this is not a tea for beginners or the faint of heart. It is a very special and complex tea that we've chosen to mark our tenth anniversary.
The tea is a cooked (or 'shou') puerh that's been aging in the village where its is from in Yunnan for ten years, made from high grown, older trees. The taste is very earthy and rich, readily giving its dark sweet brew over at least 15 infusions.
We recommend two leaf rinses before consuming the tea as it is very densely pressed.
