1999 Menghai Pu-erh
The Menghai Tea Factory is one of the seminal puerh factories in China. It was established in 1940 and its puerhs are always in high demand. This is an excellent example of a well aged puerh from the famous Menghai Tea Factory. This hearty 1999 puerh has hints of peach and apricot balanced by a mellow earthiness.
Use 2 to 3 grams of tea for every 6 ounces of water. Generally this works out to a teaspoon per every 6 ounces of water. For the first infusion, use boiling water for 1 to 2 minutes. Add 15 to 30 seconds for every subsequent infusion. You should infuse this tea multiple times.
