Arunachal Pradesh Black Tea from India

This black tea from the state of Arunachal Pradesh in far northeastern India is a great option for those who enjoy big bodied black teas.   The tea has a buttery caramel nose with tasting notes of malt, wood, and sweet dark sugars.  There is some astringency in there, which means it could take a spot of milk if you'd like, but it is quite enjoyable on its own.  For such a bold tea, the overall tone (for me at least) is breezy and refreshing - a great way to greet the morning or to pair with breakfast.
