2022 Rou Gui Wuyi Oolong

Rou Gui Wuyi Oolong is one of our favorite types of rock tea coming from Wuyishan.   The bush naturally has a cassia-like sweetness to it among it's classic minerality and boldness.  This 2022 production from Tea Makers Zhou Yousheng and Huang Shiyeng has a wonderful maple syrup like quality with a long finish.  The tea is rich with a buttery/caramel woodsy quality but is actually a little lighter than our other 2022 Wuyi Oolongs.  This tea presents a great value for Wuyi Oolong tea - it's very high quality and not prohibitively expensive.
