Beautiful aromatics of caramel and sweet woods in this highly satisfying High Mountain Hong Shui Style Wuyi Oolong from Taiwan. This is a well-roasted oolong, cozy and easy to drink. It has a light sweetness with a lingering aftertaste that floats to the nose. It's reminiscent of Yancha teas from Fujian (it is descended from those plants after all) but is fruitier and less minerally than the rock oolongs of Wuyi Mountain.
We purposefully rested this tea for 12 months to let it have time for the roast to integrate. It's beautiful now and ready to drink.
