Shizu-kaori Sencha from Kawane

This is a gorgeous, unblended, hand-harvested sencha from the recently developed Shizu-kaori cultivar.   The experience is refreshing and light, with quite a bit of vanilla on the nose in the first steeping.  Further steepings reveal notes of aromatic pine and a delicate umami.  This tea was featured in a recent Monthly Tea Club, so only a small amount remains.
