Professional Tea Evaluation Class - April 22, 2019 - 6:30 pm

Professional tea cupping is method that that people in the tea industry use to evaluate the quality of tea. It involves specific tea ware, parameters and documentation to attempt to reduce the variables that arise when evaluating a wide variety of tea. Tea cupping allows you to grow your own experiential sense of different types of tea in an apples to apples manner - they all have been steeped with exactly the same method in the same type of vessel.

For the class, we'll be evaluating at least 9 different teas using the professional tea tasting method and tools.  This is a very hands on class - you'll be steeping your own teas throughout the 2 hours.  

This class is a great way to better understand tea and to improve your tasting and evaluation skills.

Tickets to the class must be purchased in advance. Space is limited to 8 people so that we can make the best tea for the group and have a great learning experience.  Class runs from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. 

Each ticket holder to the class will receive a 10 % discount on all teas and tea wares purchased after class ends until we close for that evening.
