Sofu Sencha from Kawane

Velvety and aromatic, this sencha from the Sofu cultivar hails from Shimonagao in the Kawane area of Shizuoka, Japan.  It's a beautiful green tea, of which we have very little as most of it was sent out with a recent Monthly Tea Club.  

We recommend steeping this with water at 160 degrees for one minute for the first infusion.  This will give you gorgeous floral and white grape aromatics with a rich, sweet umami taste.  Highly recommended for fans of Japanese sencha.
